Workshops & Learning

Education has always been a hugely important part of my theatrical practice.
I am a passionate advocate of the benefits of drama, to both individuals and society as a whole, and so it was an integral parallel strand to my directing from the moment I took my first steps into the theatre world. Consequently I am adept at adapting my professional practice to an educational setting. I have over 10 year’s experience of a devising, developing, and teaching drama workshops and courses in my areas of speciality for a diverse range of participants: young people, students, adults with learning disabililties, actors in training, as well as directing drama school showcase productions and masterclass sessions with professional actors.
I have worked in and with educational bodies throughout the UK, Ireland, and internationally, including: Shakespeare's Globe; Stagedoor Manor (USA); Dulwich College; St Paul's Girls' School; James Alleyn's Girls' School; University College Dublin; Dundalk Youth Theatre; MAD Youth Theatre; Act Out Youth Theatre; Encore Productions; Harris School Academy; READ College; Activ8 (BOVTS Youth Theatre), and NoDrama Theatre, Dublin.
